The Great Buddha and Buddhist Temple

Monday, we celebrated the Memorial Day holiday by going with some friends to the Great Buddha in Kamakura (about 30 minutes by train).  It was very cool, the buddha is about 3 stories tall and you can even go inside.  It was built about 800 years ago.  The temple is called the Hase-Dera Temple and was really gorgeous.  It was a good day and the boys love seeing new things.
